The experience

A 1–2 hour session built around movement, light, and the drama of a flowing dress against Las Vegas's most iconic landscapes. No experience needed — we direct everything.

What to bring

We have a selection of flowing dresses available to rent, or bring your own. The longer and lighter the fabric, the better the shots. Flats or bare feet recommended for desert shoots.

Best timing

Golden hour — one hour after sunrise or one hour before sunset. The light is softer, the desert colors richer, and the wind is at its most cooperative. We scout the location in advance.

Red cliffs, open road

Thirty minutes west of the Strip. Red sandstone walls rise behind you and the scenic road gives a clean, uncluttered line for a full dress sweep. The canyon funnels afternoon wind, which is exactly what a long train needs.

This is the most requested Las Vegas location and the easiest to reach. Entry is a per-vehicle fee, timed-entry reservations apply on the scenic loop in peak months, and commercial photography needs a permit — we handle all of it.

Paris arch, Bellagio, Eiffel Tower

The Strip is the only place a flying dress reads as glamour rather than landscape. The Paris arch frames a full train beautifully, and the Eiffel Tower replica gives scale that no desert can. Blue hour is the sweet spot — the sky still holds color while the neon comes up.

We shoot from sidewalks and property edges, and we move quickly — crowds are part of the deal. Start early morning for empty boulevard shots, or embrace the evening energy.

Deep red rock, endless flat

Valley of Fire sits an hour northeast — deeper red sandstone than Red Rock, plus slot canyons and the Fire Wave. Plan a half day for the drive and the light. Entry fee and commercial permit both apply.

The dry lake bed south of town is the opposite: no rock, no landmarks, nothing in frame but cracked earth and sky. It is the most dramatic option for a long train because there is absolutely nothing to interrupt it. Bring flat shoes and extra water — there is no shade at all.

Lava rock, tide pools, ocean wind

Hawaii adds something the desert cannot: constant, reliable onshore wind. A train that needs a helper to lift it in Nevada flies on its own here. Black lava rock against a turquoise ocean is the strongest color contrast we shoot anywhere.

Sessions run at sunrise or the last hour of light, along the shoreline rock and tide pools. Expect wet feet and salt spray — both worth it. Travel sessions are booked well in advance; ask about dates.
